On my way to visit friends this weekend, I think I'm going to detour to Brotherhood Winery. Tom really likes their port, I adore their Rosario Classic (an absurdly sweet red), and we both love their Riesling. I plan on picking up several bottles of each of those three, plus enough of their other stuff to make up a case ( Read more... )

Tonight's dinner was a slightly enhanced version of this ham casserole. I added a little bit of basil, a bit of garlic powder, and probably doubled the amount of milk (I didn't measure any of these changes.)

Mark & Kristina met us at our place and we all rode down together. The drive down was pretty nice, with the weather getting better as we went south.
